Mine Mechanization Laboratory contains the following principal equipment:

Cone indenter

Shore sclerescope

Rock cutting set-up (planer + force dynamometer + carrier amplifier + U.V. recorder + precise electronic balance).

These equipments are used for the following laboratory experiments:

Cone indenter and shore sclerescope tests to estimate the compressive strength and the cuttability of rocks.
